Hazara Nation's First Museum

Museums play important part in representing a nation's culture, heritage and history. It is the place where you can trace back to the past of a specific group of people. Hazara nation is well known for their unique facial features and for some years for their brutal killing in Pakistan and Afghanistan. I belong to Hazara nation as well. We are the people who are famous for their hard working nature, clean houses and survival traits. Here in Australia, recently a Hazara girl Miss. Kubra Ali joined Australian Army. She is termed as "the only one of her kind". But, I know in Australia there are many more  Kubra Alis on the way.

On the other hand, Quetta has been the home of Hazaras for quite long time. Hazaras were in Pakistan, especially in Quetta even before creation of Pakistan. So, they possess very rich and proud history in Pakistan. We have officers in Pakistan's arm forces and civil institutions. We have international level athletes and players representing the country for decades. Last but not the least, Pakistan's army chief at the time of 1965 Indo-Pak war  was a Hazara as well. He is none other than General Musa Khan. Having this deep and rich culture and history in Pakistan, no one thought of preserving, nourishing and passing it on to the new generation. The Hazara's new generation have got lots of things to be proud of and a museum is a best way to let them know about their prestigious history and contributions to the Pakistan and the World generally.

Tanzeem Nasle Nau Hazara Mughal Quetta Pakistan is one of the largest organisation of Hazara people. Since the day of its creation it is constantly working for the betterment of Hazara nation. Weather it is music, arts, technology, education, sports or history, this organisation has always contributed to the social and cognitive development of its people. I consider it a privilege to have worked in Tanzeem. I will write something about my time in Tanzeem some day in the future. In the mean time, I am glad to let you know that this organisation did it again by building a Hazara National Museum. It is becoming popular among masses. Prominent personalities are visiting it and donating what they have as a token of contribution to the Hazaragi history. I am not aware of the details yet but seeing its photos on Tanzeem Nasle Nau Hazara Mughal facebook page. I can say it seems really impressive, I would love to visit it and recommend it to every Hazara.

In the post I am attaching some of its photos. The photo credit goes to organisation's official facebook page.

To conclude, I pay my tributes to the Tanzeem Nasle Nau Hazara Mughal for taking this historical initiative of preserving Hazara nation's culture and history. It is a wonderful and valuable gift for the current and generations to come. Thank you Tanzeem.
