A word of appreciation.....

We are very very glad to report that the Honourable Vice Chancellor of SBK Women's University just took back her decision of increasing Fee.The said decision is only applicable to the students who were enrolled before September 2007.The new students will not have the decrease in their fee.According to Vice Chancellor 10% will be incremented on old Students but this increment will not be applied on new Students.She retained the decision of implementing Uniform and gave the power to girls of selecting the color of their uniform.It should be remembered that the classification of the uniform is not Degree wise(Bachelors ,masters)but its Department wise(CS,CHEM,MATHS etc).The New Vice Chancellor also initiated the removal of high hostel fee.She said she has decided to charge only Rs.200 Annually on the students using Hostel facility with all mess and Utilities.These HEALTHY Announcements were made in a meeting held in HANA HALL on 9th of October ,2009 at 12:00 pm.This was the first formal meeting between Newly Appointed Vice Chancellor Honourable Sultana Baloch,which was very introducing ,decent and pleasant since very ground breaking decisions were announced.A point should be noted here that in the meeting only students were present but teachers were not Invited intentionally because Honourable ma'am wanted the students to feel free in discussing their issues.She also condemned the PROTEST incident of 7th October(A door to be rebel) according to her this was not the proper way to demand but according to the students that was also the factor of VC's newly taken decisions.The Vice Chancellor also "conditioned "the decrease in fee with good results .God knows what will happen with this CONDITIONED DECREASE.She initiated a title of "My objective being in University" on which she asked about the articles from the students .She declared that who so ever will best write her objective will be awarded a certificate from her.I think that initiatives ,that decisions which are taken are extremely benefit able for Students and will build the bridge of good will between the students and new administration.
