That Morning of Eid....!

On August 31,2011,it was the first day of Eid. All the Pakistanis were ready to celebrate it,they were ready to forget all the sorrows they have, they were ready to celebrate Eid and stop shedding tears on injustice, but the cruel animals ,the anti Pakistan insane killer groups not spare them even on day of Eid. They once again choose Quetta and Hazara community as thier soft and favorite target. They loaded a car with 25kgs of Amunition and planned to hit the Hazara Eid gah while Namaz e Eid was going on.Off course this evil plan was to kill Hazara nation's 1000 people in one go,but its Allah's kindness, his merciful that they failed to do so and due to traffic jam they blast their car in the fts away from Eid gah and 13 people of Hazara nation were martyred to save 1000 people.20 people got injured and numerous cars along with many houses were damaged badly.
I Can't explain the feeling I had that morning,Hazaras visit Hazara Graveyard early on Eid morning to remember their dead loved ones.In the same way me along with my parents visited graveyard that morning the First day of Eid.I was worried and my six sense was telling something to me,I thought i heard in news that Namaz e Eid gatherings and attacks on them is the biggest risk all over the country so i might be worried because of this very news.I was completely unaware that this Eid after 2 hours my nation will be the one who will be hit by this above state risk.We returned home ,I just wanted to distract myself by thinking about Eid day's schedule ,in the mean while when i was In my room,i heard a loud explosion. This explosion was so powerful that it opened my room's closed windows in a burst.I ran outside and then what i saw was People's "what happened?" mixed voices and their pale ,frowned faces. It seemed to me that they were preparing their minds for another"Saniha".Then I saw at sky,I saw a big cloud of smoke growing bigger.it was white and wide as cloud smoke when America hit Hiroshima by first atom bomb.Off course Big loud Blast on day of Eid on my Nation was like throwing atom bomb on them.I suddenly imagined many death bodies wearing new cloths and many children too.It took my courage and all Eid's zeal, the happiness and the hope disappeared and tears took their place. It was terrible very terrible.I have never experienced a blast like this.I only heard about deaths and about injured people but i never heard the blast voice itself. Now i can easily imagine the pain of dead people while they were killed and the mental trauma of injured people.
This is not the first saniha which hit Hazara nation, they have been targeted since 2004.I am sure every Hazara family in Quetta lost someone in these frequent attacks of cruelty. Each saniha used to get its name for "identification" and easy "referring" like Saniha e Ashur,Saniha Yom ul Quds, shuhada e saryab road,Shohada e Berowri road.We Hazaras are now sick of naming each killing. We are sick of Burying ten ,50 people all in one go in Hazara Graveyard. The government ,the So called Humanitarian organisations especially UNO should take notice of Hazara killings.Quetta is being made a slaughter house for Hazara people save them or it can take a serious turn in future.
May Allah Save all of us ,the whole Pakistan from animal like mentally sick ,anti Pakistan groups.Lets be unite against them.

  1. it truly is one of the most tragic incidents that has ever occurred in Quetta. we do get to read about the blast and carnage everywhere in the media, but the personal account of your experience through all this, is really empowering. it highlighted how the blast not only took lives, but also the hopes of millions on a supposedly joyful occasion.

the timing of this attack was atrocious. the one day we all look forward to through out the year has been turned into a day of mourning.

efforts are seen everywhere to raise awareness about the Hazara situation in Quetta; the latest being today's planned protest outside UN HQ in New York. But these protests and awareness raising efforts will take some time to take effect, and it might take the international community even longer for any sort of sizable action to help us in any way. For now though, in Quetta, we have no one but ourselves.

It is us who has to take measures in protecting ourselves. The government is increasingly hopeless; the louder we cry, the deafer they get. We have to somehow plan a scheme that prevents non-hazara people entering our area. It is only but, a suggestion. to what extent we will manage to do that remains a question.

A petition is circling on facebook these days. its directed towards the International Human Rights Watchdog, Amnesty International. with enough signatures it might attract some attention.

Good post. Keeping beating the drums. Someone is bound to hear us someday.

  2. Thank You taking time out and reading the post.I am glad to know that something good is going on. At least there is no pin drop silence from our side and the Protest plan outside UNO head quarters is one of its examples.Off course one day we will be heard,Insha Allah.
