HAZARAS IN AFGHANISTAN
Hazaras are known as one of the most hardworking,dedicated and brave nations of the world. They are educated,talented and highly intelligent. They have the ability to change their destiny and I am not saying it all on my perception, history witnessed their natural traits. Beside all their intelligence and hard work they have been ignored and discriminated in Afghanistan some decades ago.65% of the hazara nation was killed brutally by king Abdur Rehman.
They were not allowed to join administrative jobs but now the situation has been changed.
Dr. Seema Samar remained state minister for women's affairs in Hamid Karzai's government, Ustad Mohummad Mohaqiq serves as member of the Afghan parliament.He also contested in Afghan presidential elections and chairing a political party named Hizb-e-wahdat.Sultan Ali Kashtmand was the chairman of council of ministers and last but not the least Karim Khalili a Hazara is the vice president of Afghanistan.
Hazaras despite all the difficulties have progressed in every walk of life and with prominent positions,who can forget Rohullah Nikpai whose an Afghan taekwondo practitioner and two-time Olympic bronze medalist. He is an ethnic Hazara.There are many other Hazaras who are contributing to development of Afghanistan in different capacities. We salute them for their courage and spirit to survive.
The progress of Hazaras all over the world continues.Those who want to take this survivor loin hearted nation down should mind it that by killing,harassing and discriminating them they will have nothing except regrets and continuos defeat.
Hazaras are born to rise.
