Moderation- The way to Unity for Hazaras!

Well the elections were just peaceful in Quetta , not mentioning the whole Balouchistan since the answer will be so complex. Talking of Hazara nation's PB-2 and PB-6 the election results are announced though the PB-6 result is still in delay. According to PB-2 results Majlis wahdat Muslimeen won the PA seat by 7000 something votes and HDP lost the grant battle claiming the second position. This result of PB-2 is becoming very controversial. On the midnight of elections 2013 HDP was declared winner, it's news had been telecasted on various news channels but all of a sudden the tables were turned and MWW was declared the winner. It hit the whole constituency as a great shock.HDP now filed a complain against the rigging and requested recount of the votes. Lets see what happens in the future. Regardless of who wins these seats I want to sort out what Hazaras went through in this elections??

I see this elections between two extremes pulling the people on their side.

The ethnic group(HDP) kept asking for votes in the name of Hazara nation. In the name of our identity. This extreme gives all importance to identity ignoring other aspects of life such as religion. This edge  tells me that all Hazaras around the world are united no matter what their religion/sect is. On the other hand we see another extreme who asked for vote in the name of honourable Imam e Mazloom Hazrat Imam Hussain(A.S) the chief of martyrs. This religious group tells me that all Shias in the world are united regardless of the nation, the identity.

This extreme asked me to vote for them because I am Shia. This extreme urges to disconnect my links with my nation, my identity. 

The commoner was stuck between them thinking about his Deen and dunya both. A commoner loves both aspects of his life. He loves his identity since it lets people to recognise him among millions of the clans in the world. On the other hand the religion the Islam, our imams (A.S) and their teachings are a way of life for us. Our life has to be spend according to them. Now a commoner what was his option? To vote for identity or to vote for religion?

Both the aspects are necessary, if Allah asked us to spend our lives in accordance to Islam then he also distributed us in nations and clans so that we can identify each-other.

Knowing the importance of both we have to find a way in between.

First of all we should know the cause of religion. Every religion on the face of this beautiful earth teaches about peace and and self discipline, a discipline which urges to do good and to avoid evils, the sins. Religion is a set of principles, teachings which leads to the salvation of a human being. 

We should apply these teachings in our daily life, in our daily affairs and Dealings even follow religion in politics, be fair and honest, the one fearing from Allah but can you ask for votes, do politics in the name of religion? Asking for votes in the name of religion is just like validating the religion, which is I think unjust. Religion is respectable, not to be electable  but to be followed. So no politics in the name of religion should be done. It will be a contempt to the teachings of the religion. 

On the other hand the ethnic group ignores the religion(as far as i heard ).They think that life can be spend in the name of identity only and fighting for and preserving the identity will be enough but they also have to reconsider their theory since my hazara identity gives me recognition only and no code for salvation.This approach can lead to racism which is a curse in every aspect.

In order to decrease extremism, to stop polluting the mind of a commoner both the Extremes have to re consider their views.Ethnic group should admit that religion is an important part of life and has to be followed. You can't cut it off. You have to become moderates.

In the same way the Mullah should preach the teachings of Islam instead of asking for votes in the name of religion. Politics in the name of religion promotes sectarianism which further leads to violence.Islam do not need votes, an assembly seat ,it needs to be followed with full faith in order to be successful in life and in Akhirah.

May be this is the way forward or you can suggest a better one to be united!
