Advocate Jalila Haider•A daring Hazara
When there is vision there is will to make it true and when there is will there is way .
Women in Baluchistan were kept away from education for long time. Decades ago it was a mindset telling that if you study you will no more a Muslim . Later on this mind set changed but for males only, females were kept away reasoning that what will they do with education ? They are going to sit in home and take care of children . It's now decades after of awareness followed by wind of change from world that people here realised that women should also be educated.
Hence they are given opportunities for education but the real dilemma starts when they asked to make a career too.women have serious issues in starting a career in Baluchistan .
Specially if you belong from a tribal setup you have to think a hundred times to start work and to face numerous opposing forces.Hazara nation is also having a tribal setup with a very conservative mind set about women having a career.
Jalila Haider the 28 year old Advocate is a brave woman belonging to Hazara nation.
She practices at Baluchistan high court.
She is one of those daughters of the nation who faced the winds of opposition and stand alone to be unique, to be the daring one. The problem with being daring is that you are left alone, left for struggle on your own. This brave woman with a very happy and frank outlook gives you inspiration to be the daring one .
I met her in a seminar held on elections and politics in Tanzeem. This was not the first time we met. Actually our first meeting was also held in a seminar at Tanzeem, where her emotional thoughts about target killing made everyone cry in the hall.Not the first but the second meeting was really fruitful.I got to know her thoughts. She is liberal , unconventional .She is humanist at its fire.
On question that what's she is up to serve hazara nation in present capacity? She answered that as a lawyer she always helped the poor women of nation regarding their cases , weather it's their claims on compensation by government, divorce cases ,domestic problems etc. she is always there to solve it.
Jalila Haider believes on power of youth. Jalila believes that youth is more daring,dynamic and unconventional in dealing today's serious problems.
She said that she will extend the hand of help to every young member of the nation for betterment and a change .
We can say that women of will and change like Advocate Jalila Haider can contribute much to society. At least she is Inspiring the youth to think out of the box. Youth at the seminar seemed really impressed by her.

As far As i know Jalila Haider, is the only daring girl i come across in my 31 years of age. The way she makes the logic to illogical things, the way she has taken steps ahead many things moved.. I loved her and I pray she last long..
ReplyDeleteAs far As i know Jalila Haider is one the active activists i have come across in my entire life. She is too much logical and very much dedicated person. I love her for many reason, that she keeps humanity first and community than in her top priority list.
ReplyDeleteI am absolutely agree with you sima what's you have written about this daring Jalila and even i can say she has more hidden potential to resolove the problems and divine power to handle these problems. furthermore she is very kind and co-operative to everyone without any personal interest like I am a student of Government College University Lahore so I am doing my research on the ""Rapid Need Assessment and Monitoring of Target killing Disaster in Baluchistan (A case study of Quetta city)" that's why i went to Quetta so there someone told me about this daring Jalila after that i call her and she come to her office within shortspan of time and brief me about this senario and even more make my acess to others belongs to her community so In the last not Least I wish her to be successful in her field and life and we need much more daring females like her for the betterment of the society.
